2023 - Prelims
Date: 16th April 2023.
Location: Kingston Gymnastics Centre, Milton Keynes.
Entry Fee: £25 - This will be added to your account ready to be collected with next month's fees.
Please note: we will not know what time of day each gymnast will be doing their runs until the program is finalised and published. You will need to commit the whole day at this point.
This competition is the British Gymnastics South Region Qualifiers (also known as 'The Prelims') where the tumblers going forward to the English Gymnastics Silver Championships, the British Gymnastics Regional Challenge Cup Finals and the Club Cup championships will be selected. This requires British Gymnastics membership and membership of a British Gymnastics club which is affiliated to the British Gymnastics South Region.
Arrangements are being made so that those taking part in the competition can become members. This will involve registering with a British Gymnastics club. Doing so will not change where and when the gymnasts train. Once the name of the club is issued you will be sent an email on how to link your current registration with British Gymnastics to the club. At that point you will need to register [[student_first]] as a Competitive Gymnast (Silver level). The British Gymnastics system will then charge the appropriate fee.
For the Elite Tumble group, this is the competition they train for throughout the year.
During the 2 weeks before the competition special arrangements will be made so that tumblers can continue to keep their runs fresh and practised, as the club would not normally train at Toynbee during the Easter Holidays.
